HISTORY OF ROBENA

Founded in 1994 in Merseyside, Robena began as a small workshop with a deep-rooted passion for craftsmanship and precision. From the outset, our work was guided by a commitment to quality, with each piece carefully made to stand the test of time.

In 2012, Robena entered a new chapter. Under the leadership of Ahmed Akudi, formerly Global Vice President at Grohe and previously Managing Director at Skopos fabrics, the business evolved into a global brand. With his strategic vision and extensive industry experience, Ahmed recognised the potential to transform Robena into a leader in bespoke soft furnishings.

From a small, close-knit team, we have grown steadily, building a reputation for delivering tailored solutions to luxury hotels and high-end residential projects. Our approach combines heritage techniques with modern innovation, always placing the client’s needs at the heart of each project.

Today, Robena is proud to have completed over 1500 projects worldwide, installing more than 230,000 window treatments and working with over a million metres of fabric. Each commission is handled with care by our 60-strong team, an expert collective of designers, makers and project leads committed to service excellence.
